History of prioresses and ministers together with the dates the Monarchs reigned at that time.
The dates of some prioresses are not known or there is some confusion over names and dates.
From 1538 the Wroxall Abbey Estate employed their own Church of England approved chaplains who were pastors to the community of the Estate and also vicars of the parish of Wroxall. This system continued unbroken until 1995 when that part of the estate closed. The Church of England disestablished the Church in 1996 and transferred the parish jointly with Honiley.
In 2001 the new owners invited the Renewal Christian Centre in Solihull, a Free Methodist Church, to provide ministers to reopen the Church for Christian worship. It is now registered as an Independent Christian Church.
